Mehmet Koksal is a professional journalist, fixer and interpreter with extensive experience in project management at international level. He is the head of unit of Communication and Publication of ETUI.
Previously he was working as project officer for the European Federation of Journalists based in Brussels managing projects in the Western Balkans and Turkey. Mehmet has a proven full-time professional experience in democracy-related projects and programmes managed by non governmental international non profit organisations active in civil society.
Mehmet is a member of the Board of Journalismfund Europe since the 1st of March 2021. He was appointed chairman at the board meeting of 7 March 2023.
