Adnan R. Khan is an independent journalist based between Turkey and the Netherlands.
A longtime war correspondent for Maclean’s magazine in Canada, he has recently shifted his focus to war, migration, and the environment with a special interest in labour exploitation.
He has been working as a writer, photographer, and videographer, with a proven track record of full-spectrum content creation for print, broadcast, radio, and online, and adept researcher and editor with strong narrative instincts to help guide writers in developing story ideas.
Adnan speaks English and Urdu fluently and has a working knowledge of French and Turkish. He currently lives in Haarlem, The Netherlands and Istanbul, Turkey.
