Berta Vicente Salas (Barcelona, 1994) is a Spanish photographer, filmmaker, and visual researcher who has carried out long-term projects on four different continents.
Her work moves between documentary and participatory practices, exploring memory, territory, and social justice. After studying Humanities at the UOC and Documentary Film at the EICTV in Cuba, she lived in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, where she led photography workshops with incarcerated youth. A finalist for the Sony World Photography Awards and part of Flickr’s “20 Under 20” she now develops long-term projects and a feature-length documentary rooted in collective visual storytelling.
