Eduardo Goulart is a journalist and the Brazil editor at the Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP).
He worked as a curator for Pinpoint, in a partnership between the Brazilian Association of Investigative Journalism (Abraji) and Google. He was a professor of digital investigations in the postgraduate programme at Insper between 2022 and 2023.
Eduardo has spoken at international investigative journalism conferences, including GIJC, Colpin, and Abraji. He has also conducted OSINT training sessions for journalists and students, invited by institutions such as UC Berkeley, Abraji, Escola de Dados, and ICFJ.
As a freelance reporter, Eduardo has investigated corruption and environmental destruction, uncovering illegal mining on indigenous lands, illegal timber exports, and fraud in pandemic contracts. His work has been featured in outlets such as piauí, The Intercept Brasil, Vice Brasil, Deutsche Welle Brasil, Mongabay, InfoAmazonia, Chequeado, UOL, and Metrópoles.
