Emiel Petrovich (Belgium, pseudonym) investigates through slow and in-depth journalism the current situation in ex-Soviet republics. His passion for analog photography reflects the nature of the slow, in-depth journalism he pursues.
Emiel Petrovich's travel adventures begin in his youth, when he discovered ex-Soviet republics such as Belarus, Russia and Armenia. Since 2018, he has been working closely with filmmaker Pieter-Jan De Pue on his next documentary in Ukraine. This provides an opportunity to meet and understand people on both sides of the complex conflict.
