Filippo Tommasoli is a photographer and filmmaker based in Verona, Italy.

He specialises in anthropological, social, and environmental visual storytelling. After a Bachelor in Literature and a Master in Linguistics at University of Padua, he earned a Master in Visual Anthropology at Etnodramma - School of documentary Cinema (Italy) and a masterclass in "Storytelling in new media" held by ICP (International Center of Photography,New York) at Camera, Turin.

He collaborates with various news outlets and with RAI on projects in Central and South America, the Middle East, USA and Africa, with a primary focus on water-related issues. Alongside his professional career, he has been involved for over ten years in activism projects supporting the most vulnerable and marginalised groups of the population, both in Italy and abroad.
