Lorenzo Figoni is a lawyer and a freelance investigative journalist based in Italy.
Specialising in migration policies and in the Italian FOIA system, he has conducted independent investigations into administrative detention and border externalisation policies in Italy and Europe. Together with Luca Rondi, he is the author of the book ’Gorgo Cpr. Between Lost Lives, Psychiatric Drugs, and Million-Euro Contracts (2024)’.
