KYIV / WEINSTADT - Across Europe, the hunt for lithium is intensifying — fueled by the energy transition and the booming demand for electric vehicles. While the EU has long depended on imports, projects in countries like Germany and Ukraine are now pushing to tap domestic resources. 

BUCHAREST / MADRID / KYIV - From cyberbullying and cyberharassment, exposure to harmful content and hate speech, to online child sexual abuse and exploitation, statistics show that all are on the rise, and digital safety for the youngest citizens has become a global concern.

PRAGUE / KYIV – Regenerative agriculture is an approach to farming that is climate-resilient, restoring soil health, increasing biodiversity and strengthening rural communities. The project examines farms that have successfully implemented new strategies to highlight what works in practice and why.

TARGU LAPUS / DRAHOBRAT - This investigation looks at three localities facing problems of illegal dumping, landfill development and rifts between citizens and local authorities, and what is being done to address them.

LITOMYSL – Agrivoltaics offers farmers a way to adapt to economic challenges and the climate crisis while reducing the environmental impact of agriculture. The focus was both on companies that have been exploiting agrivoltaics for years and are now looking to switch panels, as well as new companies entering the market also thanks in part to government incentives.

DANUBE - Romania and Ukraine share a very important river — the Danube. As a transport artery, one of the mouths of the Danube started to be used at the beginning of the war for export.
