Mirjam van der Puijl is a Dutch datajournalist.
Mirjam has been fascinated by Internet culture and technology all her life. After years of working in publishing and tech, she switched to journalism and media in 2020. Always having been concerned about systems - of bits and of people - she has since been researching and writing about them.
She now works for Dutch regional public broadcasters and as a freelance journalist. Her main topics are privacy, platforms, social media and big tech.
