Sanne Terlingen is a Dutch investigative reporter and co-founder of Lost in Europe.
Terlingen's reporting focuses primarily on migration, trafficking, child sexual abuse, and organised crime. She has won multiple awards, including the Dick Scherpenzeel Award for 'Excellent Reporting on Foreign Affairs' for her investigation into the mysterious death of an Eritrean asylum seeker and the Mercur Award for 'Sex, Spies and Soldiers', her story on the role of US contractors in sex trafficking in Djibouti. She is also an Ochberg Fellow at the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma at Columbia University's journalism school.
