Valeria Mazzucchi is a filmmaker from Switzerland.
As a filmmaker, she has been living in between Geneva and Palermo. Her documentaries address environmental and human rights issues, such as Motel Hasankeyf (2015, Antalya Film Festival) on water rights in Turkish Kurdistan, Dönüş-Retour on press freedom in Turkey (2017, Human Rights Festival, finalist at DIG Awards), L’Étincelle (2021, Visions du Réel) on the environmental struggle of the ZAD of Notre-Dame-des-Landes, Lora Jane, about the Filipino community in Geneva (2025, part of the Futura collection), and Lost Cells, an investigative film on private stem cell cryopreservation (2025).
She co-founded the production company Futur Proche in 2021.
