Marcelle EMI is a media literacy initiative that integrates quality journalism into the French Ministry of Education’s digital ecosystem (GAR) via a dedicated platform. The project will provide fact-checked news, media literacy tools, and AI-enhanced content (audio, video, interactive formats) to students and teachers in the PACA region. The platform will be available for free to high schools in Priority Urban Districts (QPV), ensuring equal access to trusted news. This project aims to combat misinformation, foster critical thinking, and promote media pluralism, by making independent journalism easily accessible to young audiences.
Goals (expected) of the project
The primary goal of Marcelle EMI is to increase media literacy among high school students in the PACA region, especially those in underserved communities.
