The Novi Sad School of Journalism (Novosadska novinarska škola) is a civil society organisation committed to promoting professionalism and literacy in the media in Serbia and the wider region.

Its work focuses on media monitoring, research and advocacy, particularly in strengthening democratic values, critical thinking and resilience against disinformation. In 2017, it launched the widely recognised fact-checking and misinformation deconstruction platform, FakeNews Tragač.

The organisation has also developed accredited training programmes for teachers, equipping them with the skills to integrate media literacy into formal education. Since 2001, it has awarded the 'Marina Kovačev' Prize to recognise and encourage excellence among young journalists. The organisation also plays a leading role in regional networks such as SEENPM, which promote professional standards across South-East Europe. Instead of offering superficial workshops or media spectacles, the School has established itself as a serious, long-standing institution dedicated to cultivating responsible journalism and an informed, critical public.
