Radio Televisión Española is the Spanish public broadcaster.
It’s been airing since 1956 and the digital news department started in 2008. Though RTVE operates under the supervision of the Spanish government, it’s not controlled by it, and is funded primarily through public financing.
Its mission is to provide informative, cultural, educational, and entertainment content that reflects Spain’s diversity and serves the public interest.
