As part of the project, we want to engage the local community and local leaders in creating content, especially from underrepresented communities. We assume a minimum of 250 direct interactions with residents on the information platform during the project period, and minimum 25% content on platform created with cooperation of Readers.
Goals (expected) of the project
The goal of the Project is to permanently eliminate the information desert in the so-called rural Łódź eastern district, where approximately 100,000 residents are excluded from information. As we mentioned, there are no independent local media in this area, and local government and state titles are only a source of propaganda that threatens pluralism and local democracy.
