Stefan and Niki emigrated. They live in Ghent in a barrack on the De Lijn site, waiting for a job, social support or a home that never comes. To survive, they collect scrap metal, which they sell to a scrap dealer for barely 10 euros a day. When De Lijn wants to build its largest depot on the grounds and demolish the shack, the dream of a dignified existence is further away than ever.
