VIENNA - As radio station we would like to transform audio journalism into an engaging visual experience, creating a visual news radio tailored for digital platforms. Our intended impact is to expand our audience reach on new playout channels by adding visual elements to classic radio.

The project aims to transform audio journalism into an engaging visual experience, creating a visual news radio tailored for digital platforms. By combining the immediacy of audio storytelling with compelling visual elements, we will adapt our content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and streaming services. This approach not only enhances accessibility but also expands audience reach and engagement. We will develop visually enhanced audio stories through animations, subtitles, data visualisations, and dynamic images, ensuring seamless compatibility with platform specific requirements.

Our approach is visual storytelling for audio content across multiple, digital platforms for our 24-hours news-radio station - we intend to draw interest by easing access to information and giving a new and broader experience while listening to our news-radio-station. Visuals are getting developed to complement the audio, including tools like dynamic subtitles, animations and motion graphics, infographics, data visualisations, slideshows or real-time visuals. Thinking about social media platforms we intend to optimise visualised audio content focused on the particular audience.
